Misenheimer, NC - Carolina University Men's Soccer was on the road at Pfeiffer University Wednesday, October 19th. Pfeiffer came into the match 1-8-4 on their season, facing Carolina U who was 9-2. The 10th ranked Carolina Bruins notched the first goal at 21:01 after a few attempts to score. The Eagles scored in the 43rd minute on a penalty kick to close out the first half 1-1. The second half took a faster pace as the Bruins maintained possession of the ball. CU was able to score in the 51st minute to take the lead 2-1. After a lot of back and forth, Carolina University put the match away with the final goal at 84:28 for a final score of 3-1 against Pfeiffer University. 

Mario Salinas (6), assisted by Owen Vaughan, scored a goal at 21:01. Karell Buitendijk (3) scored at 50:32 with an assist from Luke Spillane-Davis. Owen Vaughan assisted another goal by Francisco Tapia (10) at 83:28. 

The Bruins are now 10-2 with the win and will go on to face North Carolina Wesleyan College at home on Wednesday, October 26th at 6:00 pm. NCWC is 7-5-1 on the season. Come support the Men's Soccer team! LiveStream will be available.
