Virginia Beach, VA - Carolina University Men's Soccer played at Regent University on Sunday, October 16th at 4:30 pm. The Bruins took the lead 1-0 in the 17th minute. They remained aggressive on offense, scoring again at 28:22. The scoreboard rested until the 84th minute when CU scored a goal to make the score 3-0. Less than two minutes later, the Bruins scored again to finish the match 4-0 against the Royals.Â
Francisco Tapia (9) scored the first goal of the match at 16:29, assisted by Matthew McCamley, as well as the last goal of the match at 85:31. Freshman Peyton Foreman scored his first goal of the season at 28:22, assisted by Nathan Rue (4). Mario Salinas (5) scored a goal at 83:37 with an assist by Jordan Julien.Â
Carolina University is now 9-2on the season and will be on the road again Wednesday, October 19th at Pfeiffer University. Pfeiffer University is 1-8-4 on their season and are coming off of two recent losses. LiveStream will be available.
