Virginia Beach, VA - Carolina University Women's Volleyball played in a tri-match on Friday, October 14th against Washington Adventist University and Regent University. The Bruins were coming off of two wins in their last tri-match on Monday. The first match of the day was against Washington Adventist University as the Bruins won in a sweep. Giulia La Longa recorded 10 kills and scored 2 aces. Kamra King had a match-high 5 aces as well as 6 assists. Nicole Laezza had a match-high 7 assists and scored 4 aces.Â
Carolina University's second match of the day was against Regent University. The Bruins maintained their momentum and won in another sweep. Kamra King had a great overall match as she recorded both a match-high 14 assists and 9 digs, 5 kills and 3 aces. Rebecca Walker also recorded 9 digs and had 3 assists. Giulia La Longa had a match-high 12 kills. Sarah Pickett scored a match-high 4 aces.Â
The Bruins are 17-7 on the season and are 8-1 in NCCAA play. They will host their Dig Pink Game at home next Tuesday, October 18th at 6:30 against Montreat College. This will be their second match against Montreat in the season. The Cavaliers are 7-13 on the season and will play against Columbia College the night before the matchup.
