MISENHEIMER, NC -- Carolina University Women's Volleyball played against Ferrum College in the second match of a Tri-Match hosted by Pfeiffer University. The Bruins fell to the host school, but were eager to get back on the court. The Bruins wasted no time in setting the tone as they took a 25-13 victory in the first set. The Panthers rallied and battled in the second set, but CU proved to be too much as they escaped with a 25-23 win. The Bruins would then put the Panthers down for good in the third set to earn the victory and 3-0 sweep.

True Freshman, Destinee Hardamon continued her fantastic day as she led the Bruin offense. Hardamon had a game-high 15 kills, a personal best 7 digs, and added 2 aces. Kamra King followed her usual form and had a game-high 30 assists. Chiara Mottola and Regan Adams filled in the gaps for CU. Mottola had 9 kills and 3 blocks, while Adams served 3 aces, had 4 assists, and a game-high 13 digs.

Carolina University Women's Volleyball now rises to 2-1 on the season and will play in another Tri-Match hosted by Pfeiffer University on Saturday, September 11th. The Bruins will look to get even with the Falcons at 2:00PM and then will play Agnes Scott College in the second match of the day at 4:00PM.
