WINSTON-SALEM, NC -- Carolina University hosted Greensboro College for a baseball double-header on Tuesday, March 30th. The Bruins entered the match up feeling good after winning 5 of their last 6 games and averaging 10.7 runs per game over that stretch. However, Greensboro was on the board first and held a 3-1 lead entering the bottom of the third. The Bruins came alive in that inning scoring 5 runs in large part due to back-to-back homeruns. Carolina University stayed hot at the plate and hit homeruns in the fourth and fifth innings as well. Greensboro tried to rally, but it was too little too late. The Bruins closed this game out with an incredible double-play to win 10-7.
