Men's Soccer Fall in First Round

KISSIMMEE, FL -- Carolina University Men's Soccer traveled to play at Campbellsville University on Monday, November 29th in the NCCAA National Championship Tournament. The Bruins were coming off a big win over Warner University in double overtime in the NCCAA South Region Championship. The Bruins started off strong with a shot on goal before the 10 minute mark, but the Tigers retaliated with a goal in the 11th minute of play. After a foul and a penalty kick in the 34th minute of play, the Tigers took the lead to 2-0 going into half time. The Bruins came out of half time with an aggressive style of play, attempting more shots on goal than in the first half, but the Tigers converted a goal late in the second half and sealed the victory with a final score of 0-3. 

Carolina University Men's Soccer will look to right the ship against Southwestern Christian University. The Eagles of SCU are the second game for The Bruins of the NCCAA National Championship Tournament which will take place again in Kissimmee, Florida on Tuesday, November 30th at 3:30 PM.
