Men's Soccer Wins NCCAA South Region Championship

LAKE WALES, FL -- Carolina University Men's Soccer traveled to play against Warner University on Saturday, November 20th. The Bruins entered the game after a big win against Regent University earlier this month. Carolina University and the Royals of Warner University fought hard for the entire 90 minutes with no score on the board. The teams went into their first overtime, where neither team took the lead. After over 109 minutes of play in the second period of overtime, the Bruins scored to win the game.

The Bruins played a great team game throughout and had meaningful performances from several players. The lone goal was scored by Mario Salinas. Salinas came off the bench with great contributions and 3 of our 8 total shots on goals this Saturday.

After winning the NCCAA DI South Region Championship, Carolina University (9-6-1) will advance to the NCCAA National Championship Tournament in Kissimmee, FL. The Bruins will play Campbellsville University on November 29th at 3:30 PM and Southwestern Christian University on November 30th at 3:30 PM. The Bruins will look to continue their momentum from the win over the Royals while preparing for the NCCAA National Championship Tournament.
