WINSTON-SALEM, NC -- Carolina University Women's Soccer hosted rival and #10 ranked Bob Jones University on Wednesday, October 13th. CU hoped to earn an upset against a nationally ranked NCCAA D1 opponent. However, BJU got off to a great start with an early goal. Bob Jones would score again to take a 2-0 halftime lead. BJU then scored 2 quick goals to open the second half. Carolina University was able to answer, but despite CU's efforts they just couldn't cut the lead down. After trading a couple of goals the score would go final with Bob Jones earning the 6-2 victory.

Aaliyah Rubio (2) at 65:37.Â
Carolina University moves to 5-7 after this one and will look to rebound on Sunday, October 17th. The Bruins will travel to Emory & Henry College for a rare Sunday game with a 2:00 PM kick-off.Â
