MARIETTA, GA -- The Carolina University Men's Volleyball Team opened the season at a Tournament hosted by Life University on January 15th. In the inaugural season of CU Men's Volleyball, the Bruins are led by Head Coach, Bill Ferguson. In the first match of the day, CU played Reinhardt University. The Bruins and Eagles dueled in the first set, but Reinhardt was able to edge the 25-20 victory. The Eagles then found a groove and were able to win the next 2 sets as well. 

Even in the loss, there were some bright spots for the Bruins young core. Steven Wilson opened the season with a team-high 9 kills. Tijhmir Glasco recorded 15 assists and 3 kills from the setter position. Brady Bartlett led the team with 6 digs and was second with 6 kills. 

The Bruins will face the host, Life University, in their second match of the day.
