Myrtle Beach Tournament Game Verse Midway

MYRTLE BEACH, SC - Piedmont's first game of the tournament was against Midway University of Kentucky. The Lady Bruins fell 6-1.

Maggie Smith recorded the first and only run of the game for the Bruins. Midway scored six straight runs after that.

Savanna Noble pitched three innings, allowing six hits and three runs. Missy Smith came in as relief for three innings, giving three hits and three runs.

Due to weather, all future games in the Spring Break Tournament are canceled. The Lady Bruins will play next against USC Union at home (Mar. 8).
