SOUTH FULTON, GA -- Carolina University Women's Basketball played against Carver Bible College in South Fulton, GA on Saturday, November 14th. The Bruins were dominate throughout this matchup scoring 20+ in every quarter and never allowed more than 17. CU cruised to a 92-58 road victory. The Lady Bruins notched a new season high in total points thanks to some elite perimeter shooting. Carolina University shot a blistering 61.5% from behind the arc and made 24 of 29 free throws.Â
Mychala Wolfe showed out in this one notching a game-high and career-high of 28 points, including 4-6 from 3-point range and 10-11 from the free throw line. Guards
Jada Sleet and
Malayah Montgomery were also excellent as each went 2-2 from 3 and scored 14 and 16 points respectively. In the frontcourt,
Lexius Houzer put up 11 points and 8 rebounds and
Ni'Jaa Wells scored 8 points and grabbed 6 offensive rebounds for the Bruins.Â
Carolina University will have some time to prepare before traveling to Mid-Atlantic Christian University in Elizabeth City, NC on Friday, November 20th. The Lady Bruins beat the Mustangs earlier this month at home, but look forward to the road challenge.
