COLUMBIA, SC - PIU brought home a hard-earned 3-1 victory over Columbia College on Saturday.
It was the Koalas who got on the scoreboard first with a successful shot in the 20th minute. Just two minutes later, the Bruins were able to get a goal of their own when junior
Cierra Josey found the back of the net.Â
Shortly after, Josey united with
Kelsie Ramirez for Piedmont's second and third goal in the 30th and 37th minute.

Ericka Washburn faced six shots the entire 90 minutes. Out of the six shots, Ericka was able to save five.
Piedmont will host their first home game of the season next Wednesday verse Brevard College at 5 PM.
