Winston-Salem, NC -- The Lady Bruins clinched a bid to the South Regional Tournament with a win against Appalachian Bible College (ABC), 109-48. The Bruins still have four matches left in regular season, two at home and two on the road.

The NCCAA DI South Regional Tournament will be hosted at Warner University in Lake Wales, Florida. Official tournament dates have yet to be announced.

During the game against ABC, all 13 players made an impact on the scoreboard. Five Piedmont players scored in the double digits: Lyric Custodio (13), Mychala Wolfe (12), Lily Sanchez (11), Noni Kuumba (11), and Briana Odoms (10). Arian Rumph and Virgillia Jones posted 10 and 6 rebounds respectively. Calese Scott led the team with 6 steals, followed by Kuumba with 5.

The Lady Bruins will be back in action tomorrow night as they host Hiwassee College. Tip-off is set at 6 PM. It will be a great matchup between the teams, as the Bruins upset the Tigers just one week ago in their gym.
