CHARLOTTE, NC - Piedmont's women's soccer team railed around a stifling defensive effort shutting out Johnson & Wales by a final score of 1-0. 

The lone goal of the game came in the 29th minute from freshman Hayden Pacheco, assisted by Ashli Mincey.

The Bruins recorded a total of 10 shots to the Wildcats 6. Cierra Josey, Savannah Placie, Katelynn Goodman, and Ashli Mincey each recorded one shot on goal. Erick Washburn had one save on the night.

Piedmont will return to action Saturday, October 26, at Warren Wilson College at 2 PM.
