SWANNANOA, NC - The Piedmont International University women's soccer team clinch a trip to the NCCAA South Regional Tournament after defeating Warren Wilson College by a score of 4-2.
The Owls got on the board first in the 11th minute, taking the lead 1-0. Piedmont would respond with two goals of their own before the end of the half.
Adellah McManus and
Ashli Mincey registered an unassisted goal each. The Bruins would go into halftime up 2-1.
Within the first minute of the second half, McManus scored her second goal of the night. In the 58th minute, freshman
Trinity Gray would record Piedmont's four and final goal.
Warren Wilson would score one more time before the end of the regulation, but it wasn't enough to tie up the game.
The Bruins play their final match of the regular season at home on Friday, November 1, at 5 PM.
