FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA – PIU dropped a match on the road verse the Emmanuel College Lions on Saturday 6-0.
The Lions offense came out hot in the first half getting on the board in the 6th minute. Emmanuel would add three more goals, going into the half 4-0.
In the second half, the Lions would find the back of the net two more times in the 54th and 66th.
Piedmont registered eight shot attempts.
Brayan Gomez led the team with four shot attempts, one being on goal.
Jeremiah Gibbs recorded five saves for the Bruins.
The Bruins will be back in action on Monday as they host rival Johnson & Wales University - Charlotte at 7:00 PM.
