Box Score LYNCHBURG, VA – Piedmont's men's soccer team came up short to the Randolph College Wildcats on Wednesday by a score of 4-1.
Randolph came out strong, scoring three unresponded goals in the first half of the game.
However, momentum switched in the second half as the Bruins had five shot attempts compared to three for the Wildcats. In the 82nd minute, a WIldcat forward recorded their fourth and final goal. Piedmont was able to respond with a goal on the evening by Fransico Tapia in the 84th minute.
Marco Diaz led the team with three shots all on goal followed by
Mario Salinas with two shots on goal and Fransico Tapia's one shot on goal.
Noah Jones recorded six saves.
The Bruins will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Franklin Springs, GA to take on Emmanuel College. Kickoff is set for 3 PM.
