ADVANCE, NC - The Lady Bruins faced a home defeat Wednesday evening, falling to King University 3-0.

Piedmont (4-4-1) found themselves trailing early in the game as King found the back of the net in the 4th minute. The Tornados would stretch their lead in the 20th and 82nd minutes, adding two additional goals.

The Bruins recorded a total of five shots with Katelynn Goodman responsible for two. Ericka Washburn registered 7 saves on the evening. 

PIU will take the field at home next Wednesday as they host Johnson & Waled University at BB&T Soccer Park at 5 PM.
