Alona in her Freshman season saw 370 minutes on the field, and played in 4 matches. 

High School 

Alona is a graduate of Jesse C. Carson High School, where she garnered numerous accolades including All-State recognition in her senior year, and being named 3-time All-Conference player, 2-time Keeper of the Year, MVP twice, and recipient of the Coach-able Award and Athlete-Scholar Award during her senior year.

Personal

Alona Locklear, a current business major. Alona draws inspiration from Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding." Beyond soccer, Alona enjoys expressing her creativity through drawing, going to the gym, and enjoys reading. She credits Alex Morgan as her role model, admiring Morgan's resilience and determination in overcoming a late start in club soccer to achieve greatness in the sport. Alona's family includes her mother Lashawn Gardner, father Alex Gardner, and twin brother Ethan Locklear, who continue to support her endeavors both on and off the field.
