Coach William Tatum is entering his first year as Assistant Coach to the Lady Bruins Basketball team.

Education: Tatum attended college at Livingstone College where he was a double athlete in football and track for four years. From Livingstone, Tatum graduated with a degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business. He is currently getting his Master’s in Physical Education online from Canisius College in New York.

Professional: Coach Tatum helped co-found the Winston-Salem Lady Warcats, a semi-pro women's basketball team. He was the Head Coach for the Warcats for 6 years, where led the team to two National Playoff appearances in the Women’s Blue Chip Basketball League. Tatum then became the Assistant Coach at Lexington Senior High School for  four years.

Tatum currently helps out with the Lexington Little Ballers, a developmental program that helps teach basketball to little kids, and trains 18U players.

Personal: Tatum is husband to Head Coach Toccara Tatum. They both reside in Winston-Salem with their two kids.
