Chante’ Keller is a Freshman Student Athlete at Piedmont International University. Chante’s major is Health and Physical Education. She has played softball for almost 13 years. Chante’s started playing softball at 3rd Base for 11 years and also enjoyed rotating to 1st Base for 6 years. Playing Machine Pitch she hit her first Grand Slam at 9 years old. She also played volleyball and basketball for 10 years of her life. Track and Field for 5 years. While breaking her sisters school record of Javelin during 8th Grade. She also got awarded for being the volleyballs middle school team Captain in 7th and 8th Grade. Chante’s went to Thibodaux High School for grades 9th and 10th. She started high school playing Junior Varsity 3rd Base and Defensive Hitter for Varsity. Going into her Sophomore Year rotating from 3rd & 1st for Varsity. Transferred to St. James High School got grades 11th & 12th. Playing at St. James for 2 years Chante averaged 13 Homeruns and 4 Grand Slams. Chante played 1st for her last two and got 2nd Team All District and Defensive Player for 11th Grade. She ended her senior year with 1st Team All District, Team Leader Award and Teams Golden Glove Award. Chante’ now resides in Winston-Salem, NC.
