Craig Golding is entering his seventh season as the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Carolina University. In the 2023 season, he led the Bruins to an impressive record of 15-2-3, winning the NCCAA South Regional Championship and earning a spot in the National Championship tournament, where they fell just short of the title. This followed a standout 2022 season, during which the team achieved a program-best record of 13-3-1 and finished ranked #8 in the NCCAA, also winning the South Regional Championship.
Since joining Carolina University, Golding has successfully guided the Bruins to three NCCAA South Region Championships (2019, 2021, 2022) and four consecutive NCCAA National Championship appearances. In 2021, the Bruins finished with a record of 10-8-1, winning the South Region and reaching the National Tournament, while in 2020, they concluded the season at 4-3 and also made it to the National Tournament. His coaching has produced seven scholar athletes, three NCCAA All-Tournament players, and an All-American. In 2019, Golding was recognized as the NCCAA South Region Coach of the Year.
Before his tenure at Carolina University, Golding was the Head Men’s and Women’s Soccer Coach at John Wesley University, where he led the Lions to win the NCCAA South Region Championship in 2016.
Originally from Essex, England, Golding studied Tourism Management at Harlow College. He resides in Clemmons, NC, with his wife, Ashley, and their children, Aiden and Cora.
With his extensive experience and commitment to player development, Golding continues to elevate the men’s soccer program at Carolina University.
