Coach Torez Young-Canty is entering his third season as an Assistant Coach to the Piedmont International University Men's Basketball team. Young-Canty brings his knowledge and enthusiasm of the game to the program. He main responsibilities are developing the the current player's skills and recruiting future Bruin basketball players.
Education: Young-Canty is a graduate of Winston-Salem State University and holds a degree in Criminal Justice. Torez is recently graduated with a Master's in Educational Leadership from Piedmont International University.
Professional: Young-Canty has developed his skills in coaching from working with many different basketball programs over the years. He has worked with the NBA, overseas, and NCAA college basketball players and AAU programs.
Collegiate: Coach Young-Canty played basketball at Grambling State University before transferring to Winston-Salem State University to play ball.
Personal: Coach Young-Canty is originally from the area, Winston-Salem, NC.
