Coach Howard has served as Head Men's Basketball Coach since 2016

Education: Howard attended Wake Forest University from 1999 to 2003, majoring in Religion and minoring in International Studies.

Collegiate: During his four year stint, Howard was selected to first team All-ACC, led the Demon Deacons in points during his sophomore year, was named ACC Player of the Year (2003), and has since had his number (5) retired at Wake Forest. 
 
Professional: In 2003, Howard was drafted into the NBA and played until 2012 with four different teams, seven of those years with the Dallas Mavericks. During his time with the Mavericks, Howard was named to the NBA All-Rookie second team (2004) and was chosen for the NBA All-Star team in 2007. Howard has since started the Josh Howard Foundation to help the youth in the community of Winston-Salem.

Personal: Josh Howard was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC. He splits his time between Winston and Dallas, TX, where his three children are.
