Kirk Cabana is entering his second season as the Assistant Baseball Coach for Carolina University.
Education: Cabana graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a B.A in General Studies with a concentration in Business Administration. Kirk is set to begin his MBA in September 2020.
Professional: Cabana started his coaching career as the Head Coach of the Puerto Rico Collegiate League in the summer of 2019. He then joined the staff of Carolina University in the Fall of 2019. Cabana is also the current Bench Coach of the HPT HiToms, a member of the Coastal Plains League, a top 5 nationally recognized summer collegiate baseball league.
Collegiate: Coach Cabana played both football and baseball collegiately. Cabana most notably played college baseball at Citrus Community College in Glendora, CA, where he made the team at the unorthodox age of 30 years old. Kirk parlayed his recommitment to athletics and personal development into a scholarship to play for Carolina University in the programs second year of existence. Cabana brought a positive mental attitude and desire to build a new program that has assisted in earning him his spot on the Carolina University coaching staff.
Personal: Originally from West Covina, CA, Kirk moved across the country to Winston-Salem with his wife Katie and son Kooper to pursue this next great adventure.
