Chance Sharp is a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Piedmont Bruins.
Education: Sharp received a degree in Physical Education from New Mexico Highlands University.
Professional: Coach Sharp started his coaching career with the Springfield Sliders as their pitching coach in 2015. In 2016, he became the pitching coach at Kofa High School, where he stayed for two seasons. After that Sharp was the pitching coach for the High Desert Yardbirds, in which he played for, during the 2017 season. Coach Sharp found his first Head Coaching position for the California Grizzly just this past year 2018.
Collegiate: Sharp started his baseball career at Salem University (NCAA DII). He played there from 2012-2014 and was awarded All-Conference in 2013. Sharp then transferred to New Mexico Highlands University where he finished out his baseball career.
Semi-Professional: After college, Sharp played in the Pecos Professional Baseball League. He played for the Garden City Wind in 2016 and the High Desert Yardbirds in 2017.
Personal: Chance Sharp is originally from Yuma, Arizona. He now live here with his wife, Alexis and their two dogs, Strike and Sophie.
