Carolina University faced a challenging weekend at Williams Gymnasium, hosting two volleyball matches against Life University and Talladega College.

Life University Match (April 4, 2025)
Carolina University was defeated by Life University (9-17, 3-8) in a 4-set match. Life University secured the victory with set scores of 25-14, 25-27, 25-17, and 25-13.  
Set 1: Talladega College won the first set 25-18. Talladega College showcased a strong start with a .444 hitting percentage. Even though the set score was lopsided, Carolina University's Kai Jamerson distributed 31 assists throughout the match, starting to set up the offense. 
Set 2:  Carolina University showed resilience and fought back to win the second set 27-25. This set was closely contested, with 4 ties and 1 lead change. Carolina University significantly improved their hitting percentage to .417 in this set.
Set 3: Life University regained control, winning the third set 25-17. Life University maintained a solid hitting percentage of .368.  Carolina University had 9 kills in set 3.
Set 4:  Life University closed out the match by winning the fourth set 25-13. Despite the loss, several Carolina University players gained valuable experience in a competitive match, which will contribute to their development.

Talladega College Match (April 5, 2025)
Carolina University played against Talladega College. Talladega College won the match 3-1, with set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 25-18, and 25-15.  
Set 1: Talladega College won the first set 25-18. Talladega College showcased a strong start with a .444 hitting percentage. Carolina University had 10 kills in set 1. 
Set 2: Carolina University evened the score by winning the second set 25-22. This set was tightly contested, featuring 11 ties and 5 lead changes.  
Set 3: Talladega College took the lead again, winning the third set 25-18. Talladega College maintained a .278 hitting percentage. Carolina University had 11 kills.  
Set 4: Talladega College secured the match victory by winning the fourth set 25-15. Carolina University had 6 kills.
