Augusta, GA – March 7-8, 2025 – Carolina University secured back-to-back victories over Trinity Baptist at the Paine College Tournament, displaying strong offensive performances and solid pitching.
Game 1: Carolina University Dominates with 11-2 Victory
In the first matchup on March 7, Carolina University took control early and never looked back, defeating Trinity Baptist 11-2.
Carolina's offense was firing on all cylinders, scoring in four of the six innings played. A five-run fourth inning broke the game open, highlighted by key hits from
Danielle Brooks,
Makinzie Brown, and
Gina Sullivan.
Kalea Bolch also contributed with a two-hit, two-run performance.
On the mound,
Madison Hamilton earned the win, pitching six innings and allowing just two earned runs on two hits. Trinity Baptist's J. Johnson took the loss, giving up seven runs (six earned) in four innings.
Game 2: Carolina University Holds Off Trinity Baptist for 4-2 Win
In the second game on March 8, Carolina University edged out Trinity Baptist in a closely contested 4-2 battle.

Leigha James delivered a clutch two-RBI single to give Carolina a 3-1 lead. Trinity cut the deficit to 3-2 in the third, but Carolina added an insurance run in the fifth.

Madison Hamilton secured her second win of the series with a complete-game performance, allowing just three hits and no earned runs over seven innings. Trinity Baptist's K. Duhig took the loss after surrendering three runs in just over an inning of work.
