Winston-Salem, NC – The Women's Basketball team faced off against the Dragons of Virginia University of Lynchburg on their home court today. Despite a relentless effort, the Bruins were unable to secure a win, falling 48-57.

The loss came after a strong performance from the Bruins, with Le'Asia Matthews leading the offense with 17 points. Keani Jackson recorded a double-double, contributing 10 points and 10 rebounds. The Dragons took an early lead in the first quarter, and despite the Bruins' best efforts, they were unable to close the gap.

The Bruins will be back in action for their final game of the season and Senior Night at home against Regent University. The doubleheader is scheduled for 3:00 PM on February 22nd.
