Spartanburg, SC – The Carolina University Men's Basketball team traveled to Spartanburg Methodist University last night to face off against the Pioneers in a thrilling matchup. The Bruins emerged victorious, winning 90-86 in a close contest.
The Bruins outscored the Pioneers by two points in both halves, with a 38-36 lead in the first and a 52-50 advantage in the second. Offensively, Aundree Polk was unstoppable, recording 37 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double. Davon Cottle was the second-leading scorer with 23 points, including a strong 6-for-11 performance from beyond the arc.
Men's Basketball will return to action on Tuesday, February 18, against Mid-Atlantic Christian University in a game scheduled for 7:00 PM.
