Lady Bruins Await as Carolina University Women’s Soccer Travels to Bob Jones for Friday Clash

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Carolina University Women's Soccer team is back on the road this week as they travel to Greenville, South Carolina, to take on Bob Jones University on Friday, October 10, with kickoff slated for 6:00 p.m.

The Lady Bruins enter the matchup following a hard-fought 0–0 draw against NCAA Division II opponent Bluefield State on October 1. The result marked a determined defensive effort for the Bruins, who battled for 90 minutes to earn their third draw of the season.

Carolina University (1–7–3) looks to carry that momentum into Friday's matchup against Bob Jones (2–5–5). The Bruins' defense will again be key as they seek to contain a Bob Jones squad that will be energized by a special occasion — the 2024 Championship Ring Ceremony Night, celebrating their recent regional success.

Head Coach Boo Tesh and the Bruins aim to play spoiler on this celebratory night, using their resilient defensive form and improving possession play to challenge a strong Bob Jones side. With a schedule coming down to the end and conference play on the horizon, Carolina continues to build toward peak form as postseason play approaches.
