Carolina Volleyball Earns 20th Win with Road Victory at Bluefield

Bluefield, Va. – October 28, 2025 – The Carolina University Women's Volleyball team earned its 20th win of the season on Tuesday evening, defeating Bluefield University 3–1 on the road. The victory improves the Bruins to 20–10 overall and 3–2 in conference play, marking another milestone in a strong 2025 campaign.

Carolina took the first two sets 25–11 and 25–20 before Bluefield rallied to take the third 25–20. The Bruins responded with authority in the fourth, closing out the match 25–11 to secure the victory and cap off their 20th win of the year.

Offensively, Kammi Naude led the way with a dominant 14 kills on .875 hitting, while Karli Totel contributed 10 kills and 2 blocks. SarahElizabeth Samuels added 8 kills, and Britney Comolli finished with 8 kills and 3 digs to keep the attack balanced. Setter Syvannah Poore directed the offense with 27 assists, and Natalia Cano tallied 14 assists and a service ace in a strong dual-setting performance.

Defensively, Kai Horta anchored the back row with 18 digs, while Charlee Hale added 11 digs to keep the Bruins in control throughout the night. Carolina finished with a team hitting percentage of .347 while holding Bluefield to just .156.

Head Coach Chelsea Jones praised her team's poise on the road:

"Reaching 20 wins is a great accomplishment for our program," Jones said. "The team stayed focused, executed our game plan, and showed great energy from start to finish. I'm proud of how they continue to grow each week."

The Bruins will be back in action on Saturday, November 1, as they travel to Milligan University for a tri-match. Carolina will face Johnson University at 1 p.m. before taking on host Milligan at 3 p.m.
