Cary, NC- Carolina University Women's Soccer wrapped up their third consecutive road game with a victory before returning home this Saturday. The Bruins faced the Pacers of William Peace University and secured a solid 2-0 win.
After a quiet first half marked by 12 attempted shots, the Bruins broke the deadlock in the second half. On a corner kick, Alexa Anderson scored the first goal for the Blue and Gold. With just three minutes remaining, Peyton Battilla added the second goal, sealing the 2-0 victory and securing the shutout for the Bruins.
Goalkeepers Totel and Alona Locklear played a key role in the win while keeping a clean sheet.
The Bruins will return home this Saturday to face Shaw University at 7:00 PM.
