Men's Soccer Beats the Lions 6-0

Greensboro, NC – Carolina University Men's Soccer faced off against the Lions of Greensboro College, securing a commanding 6-0 victory and achieving another impressive shutout. The Bruins are now 7-0 this season.

The Bruins dominated the match, scoring three goals in each half. After an own goal by the Lions Luke Spillane-Davis opened the scoring for the Bruins. Shortly after the Lions made substitutions to regain momentum, Jordan Julien added Carolina's third goal, culminating a strong first half.

As the second half began, the Bruins quickly created scoring opportunities. It wasn't until Josef Holmes set up Nathan Rue, who found the back of the net, that the Bruins extended their lead 4-0. With just minutes remaining, Spillane-Davis netted his second goal of the night. Aidan Fletcher capped off the scoring, bringing the final tally to 6-0.

Carolina University Men's Soccer will return to action on Saturday, October 5th, at 3:00 PM as they take on Spartanburg Methodist College in an away match.
