Knoxville, TN- Carolina University Women's Soccer played to a 1-1 draw against the Johnson University Lions last night on the road. 

After a quiet first half, the Lions struck first, taking a 1-0 lead. The Bruins responded with determination. Ashley Sanchez scored a crucial equalizer to level the playing field.. Despite a strong push from both sides, the Bruins' defense held firm, goalkeeper Alona Locklear made four key saves to preserve the draw.

The Bruins will look to build on this performance when they return home on September 18, facing Brevard College at 7:00 PM.
