Spartanburg, NC – The Carolina University Women's Soccer team faced off against Spartanburg Methodist College last night. The Bruins put up a strong fight against the Pioneers but ultimately fell short, with a final score of 2-4.
In the first half, the Pioneers managed to score twice. However, the Bruins were not discouraged. They came out strong in the second half, with Natalie Puskar scoring the first goal for the Bruins, followed by Morgan Meyers, which leveled the score at 2-2. Despite their efforts, Spartanburg Methodist scored two more goals before the game ended.
The Bruins will be back in action on Thursday, September 12, at 6:00 PM on their home field.
