Esports Claims Divisional Championship

Carolina University Rocket League and Valorant teams successfully made it to the Divisional Championships for each game. This is a first for Rocket League and a second appearance for Valorant. 

Valorant was placed 42 overall in playoff seeding and beat 55 DePaul University in the first round. They upset the number 7 seed Drury Panthers in a hard-fought 2-1 win. Then moved on to play 18 Cleary University for the championship! The Esports Valorant team was successful and brought home a 2-0 victory culminating a fantastic season. 

Rocket League would have been able to finish a completely undefeated season if they had taken the divisional championship. They were ranked 9 overall out of 96 in the playoff seeding. They had a bye in the first round and swept Depaul 4-0 to go on to the championship where they faced 41 Buena Vista University. 

Esports Valorant completed their regular season 3-3 and post-season play 3-0 for their Divisional Championship Title. Esports Rocket League finished their regular season 7-0 and post-season play 2-1, Valorant finished Divisional Runner-Up.
