Elmer Cevallos, the manager of the esports team, stated directly:
"This season has been a challenging yet inspiring journey for the Bruins, marked by intense competition and remarkable resilience in the face of transition. Despite losing several top-tier players to graduation, our esports teams have shown unwavering determination. In Fall 2024, our Valorant squad surged into the semifinals, showcasing that even amidst change our competitive edge remains sharp. Meanwhile, although our Rocket League team delivered impressive individual performances throughout the season, they fell just short of clinching a spot in the finals in the East, leaving us with valuable lessons and clear objectives for the future. The Spring season brought its own set of challenges, as our Valorant team built on their earlier momentum to secure a strong playoff appearance, and our Call of Duty team, despite a significant setback caused by an unavoidable forfeit, demonstrated persistence in a series of hard-fought matches. Every contest, whether marked by standout victories or the learning opportunities inherent in tough losses, has contributed to a wealth of experience that strengthens our foundation. With renewed talent and refined strategies on the horizon, the Bruins are set to not only maintain our legacy but also to elevate our game, proving that adversity is simply the stepping stone to greater success."
We extend our deepest gratitude to all the Bruin fans for their unwavering support throughout the season. We are already looking forward to next year and are committed to coming back even stronger.
