Augusta, GA- Carolina University Softball earns another sweep in Saturday's doubleheader against the Lions of Paine College. The Bruins will continue to be road warriors as they have another away match the following Monday.
The Lady Bruins won the first game 6-5. The Blue and Gold came out swinging in the second game winning 11-10.
Game 1
The Bruins were able to start strong offensively scoring 2 runs before the end of the 1st. Kalea Bolch assisted with a home run right out of the gate. Grace Johnson and Grace Andrews both tallied doubles in the first game.
Danielle Brooks pitched the first 7 for the Bruins and tallied 3 strikeouts.
Game 2
The Bruins started hot, scoring 4 runs in the 1st. Grace Johnson and Kourtney Cox tallied home runs for the Blue and Gold, and 3 Bruins recorded doubles.

The Lady Bruins will be on the road Wednesday to battle the Cavaliers of UVA Wise.
