Womens Basketball Takes Down Voorhees

Winston Salem, NC- Carolina University Women's Basketball (10-7) took on Voorhees University (5-16) in a home match-up.

The Blue and Gold beat the Tigers Saturday evening on their home court 80-57. Outstanding players in Saturday's game were Bianca Gonzalez with 18 points and DenAsia Mitchell with 17. Shamya Loman aided the Bruins with 8 rebounds and 5 points of her own.

Women's Basketball will be on the road next week as they battle Johnson & Wales at 6 pm on February 20.
