Women's Basketball Extends Win Streak to Four

Winston-Salem, NC – Carolina University Women's Basketball hosted WVU Institute of Technology tonight at 5:00 PM. The Golden Bears made a valiant effort, but were no match for the Bruins, who were on a hot streak.

The Bruins dominated the first quarter, jumping to a commanding 22-4 lead. The Blue and Gold's defense was on point, limiting the Bears' scoring opportunities. Nadia McDowell-Jackson led the charge for the Bruins, scoring 8 of her 10 points in the opening quarter.

Carley Bolden was the offensive standout for the Bruins, recording 13 crucial points, while Alaysia Kidwell pulled down 11 rebounds to anchor the defense.
