Lynchburg, VA — Carolina University Women's Basketball traveled to Virginia this weekend for a tightly contested matchup against the Wildcats. The Bruins ultimately fell short, losing 59-60 in a nail-biting finish.
Leading the way for the Bruins were Biannca Gonzalez, who scored 18 points and grabbed 3 rebounds, and Felisia Ondongo, who added 12 points and 6 rebounds. Carolina held the lead for most of the game, but the Wildcats came on strong in the fourth quarter. A late free throw gave them the edge, securing the victory by just one point.
Women's Basketball will be back in action on Saturday, November 30th, at 2:00 PM, as they face Winston-Salem State University.
