Women's Volleyball Competes in CAC Tournament

Temple Terrace, FL – The Carolina University Women's Volleyball team traveled this weekend for a pair of matchups, taking on Haskell Indian Nations University at 12:30 PM and Florida College at 5:00 PM.

The Bruins battled against Haskell and secured a well-earned victory in four sets: 25-21, 20-25, 25-17, and 25-15. SarahElizabeth Samules was an offensive standout in the first match, tallying 10 kills, while senior libero Rebecca Walker anchored the back line with an impressive 22 digs.

In their second match of the day against Florida College, the Bruins were unable to overcome the Eagles, who swept them in three sets. Despite the loss, the Bruins fought relentlessly. Samules again led the offense with 6 kills, followed by Britney Comolli and Kamra King, each contributing 5 kills. However, the Bruins struggled to execute their aggressive serving game, which has been a strength throughout the season, finishing the match with only two aces.

The Women's Volleyball team will be back in action on November 16th, taking on Florida National University at 3:30 PM.
