Winston-Salem, NC – The Carolina University Men's Basketball team faced off against Spartanburg Methodist College at home tonight in an intense back-and-forth battle.
The Bruins fought relentlessly throughout the first half, determined to take control of the game. Despite the Pioneers initially taking the lead, the Blue and Gold fought back, edging ahead by the end of the first half with a score of 31-28. Trey Crawford led the Bruins offensively, recording a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
In the second half, the Pioneers found their rhythm, hitting more consecutive shots and eventually reclaiming the lead. Despite the Bruins' tireless effort, the Pioneers held on to their advantage, securing a 66-53 victory.
The Men's Basketball team will be back in action on November 22nd as they travel to Ohio for the Bevo Francis Classic.
