Winston-Salem, NC - Carolina University Women's Basketball (5-5) hosted Washington Adventist University (8-3) at Williams Gymnasium on Saturday, January 6.
The Bruins battled obtaining 10 fast break points and 58-47 rebounds, but ultimately fell to the shocks on the Bruins's home court. DenAsia Mitchell scored 10 of the Bruins's 59 points, and Shamya Loman continued her streak of solid performances, securing a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
The Bruins return to Williams Gymnasium to face Clinton College on Wednesday, January 10, at 5:30 pm.
