Augusta, Georgia - Carolina University Women's Volleyball (3-3) traveled to Paine College (0-6) on Saturday, September 9 for a tri-match.
Match #1 | CU vs Paine
The Bruins took on the Lions, who they faced one week prior, in the first match and took care of business with a three-set sweep. Offensively, Kamra King led the way with a dominant performance. She led the team in kills (11), assists (13), and aces (3). Desirae Pisano led the team in digs (6).
Match #2 | CU vs Savannah State
The Bruins won the first set of their second match of the day, with Savannah State taking the following three. King led the match with 26 assists, and SarahElizabeth Samuels led the team in kills with 11. Defensively, Desirae Pisano led the team in kills with 11 while Sarah Pickett and Rebecca Walker each recorded 10.Â
"The pieces are starting to come together," said Head Coach Chelsea Jones after the matches. "We are competing and playing as a team while celebrating individual wins. I am ready to watch that translate into even more success."
