Philippi, WV - Carolina University Men's Volleyball played at Alderson Broaddus University on Friday, February 17 at 2:00 and 5:00 pm. The Battlers led the match, taking the first set 25-22 and the second set 25-21. The Bruins battled back in the third set to win 25-20, to take the score to 1-2. Unfortunately, this wasn't enough and ABU closed out the fourth and final set to win the match 3-1. Mason Chambers had a team high 14 kills followed by Raheem Thomas with 9 kills and Bryson Abernathy with 8 kills. Tijhmir Glasco had a match-high 32 assists and 9 digs.

The second match of the day challenged the Bruins even further. CU came up short in the first set and put up a good fight in the second set but weren't able to mount a comeback. The Battlers finished with a score of 3-0. Bryson Abernathy had 8 kills followed by Mason Chambers with 7 kills and Raheem Thomas with 6 kills. Tijhmir Glasco had 19 assists for the team.
