Laurinburg, NC - Carolina University played against St. Andrews University on Wednesday, February 7th. The first set against the Knights was quite a challenge for the Bruins, finishing 14-25. Both teams fought hard in the second set but the Knights took it again in a close score of 20-25. The match intensified as Carolina University went back and forth with SAU in the third set. The Bruins continued to bring more energy but despite their hard work, finished 23-25 and 0-3 in the match.Â
Raheem Thomas had match-high 14 kills and recorded 6 digs. Mason Chambers had 8 kills, followed by Bryson Abernathy with 7 kills. Tijhmir Glasco had match-high 31 assists and had 5 digs. Steven Wilson recorded 9 digs for the Bruins as well.
