Women's Soccer Dominates Home Regional Matchup

Bermuda Run, NC - Carolina University Women's Soccer (4-4-1) hosted Regent University (3-4-3) at Truist Sports Park on Wednesday, October 4. 

The game started with a bang when Angie Hernandez Victorino scored her first goal of the season 16 seconds into the contest, assisted by Natasha Mariam. The Bruins received an insurance goal from Destini Wilson in the twenty-fourth minute (assisted by Hayden Pacheco) and put the game away with an own goal by the Royals.

Defensively, the Bruins recorded their third clean sheet of the season, led by Kloe Totel's four saves in goal. The team received a big boost with the return of junior midfielder and captain Sidney Smith. 

The Bruins are back in action this weekend, traveling to Virginia State University on Saturday and hosting Edward Waters at Truist Sports Park at 3pm on Sunday. You can support the Bruins via live stats/stream at cubruins.com.
