WINSTON-SALEM - Carolina University Women's Soccer hosted Randolph College on Saturday, September 10th at 6:00 at Davie County Community Park. The match was back and forth on the field, taking until the 38th minute for Randolph to score the first goal. The Bruins answered back shortly after, when Angie Hernandez Victorino scored the goal for Carolina University at 42:08 making the score 1-1. The second half consisted of a similar pace and proved to be difficult for CU to convert their shots. In the 77th minute, the Wildcats scored the game winning shot, making the final score 2-1 in favor of Randolph College.Â
The Bruins will play again on Sunday in an exhibition at Davidson College. They will resume their regular season competition on the road with William Peace University on Thursday, September 15th at 7:00 pm.
